Digitising all your old photos can be a daunting task but with the SmartPhoto scanner it's a doddle. The P60 scans photos sized 4"x6", the standard size of photos developed from film, and turns them into JPEG folders on your laptop or computer. With one button and one USB connection cable the P60 is very simple to use. Place your pictures against the edge of the device to avoid scanning them crooked and set to continuous scan to efficiently add photos onto your computer. It scans images at a high rate (48 bit & 600DPI) so your pictures will look as good on your computer screen as in your hand. Don't worry about harming old or faded photos as there is a special protective layer on the scanner to prevent damaging them. Software needs to be installed for the P60 to work but when uploaded its compatible with both Windows and Mac. Once scanned the photos are sent to a predestined folder so you can email them to your family, post them onto Facebook or they can also be edited on photo programmes (eg iPhoto).
